Homework.

Hi I'm Georgia and I am going to tell you about my homework
So here we go.

It all started when I didn't read much because I didn't like to read paper.I mostly liked to read on digital because it's easier to find a book.

 I met with my teacher and we agreed that I would read 3 nights a week.

 So I read three nights a week and it helped my reading a lot. It is so fun doing this homework.

My volume maths.

 Today I changed my goal to volume. I did this work. These shapes are built from 12 blocks. we can say my towers have the volume of 12 cubic centimeters.

here I go I said to myself my heart was racing. It was pumping out of my chest. My nerves went right through my body. We arrived at the gate i took a deep breath I can do this.

When it was my turn to swim I got in the Finals in backstroke.

Then I did a medley and I got in the Finals in that to, guess what mine team won, in the medley.

If you don't know what a medley is, a medley is something that you do in a group. One of the team mates would do a length of backstroke, another person does a length of breaststroke, the other person does freestyle.

My reflectshon on Y6 Whakangahau

I think the Whakangahau was great because Mr Ritai's speech was cool. What does my badge mean to you? you may ask well it means a lot because it say probably the best message which is Tu Kaha witch means stand tall. Stand tall means  to me to care for others don't do the easy thing do the right thing and never give up. If someone is distracted you press your ignore button and ignore them.

I felt nerves my heart was racing I was shaking when i went up to get my badge but I was happy as well the reason why I was happy was because i have been looking ford to get my badge because I want people to know that I am a year six and ready to help everyone.

One more message you don't need a badge to be a leader.

The best thing at school this year.

Hi, my name is Georgia, this is my quick write, so let’s get started. The best thing at school this year was the workshops, and the teachers, the workshops are one of the best things because they help my learning, and because people may not know what the strategy is so you can pick if you want to go. The best things also are the teachers because they are so nice and make some things sound easy and make them in the middle. Teachers comment on my google docs so I can improve my writing. I really LOVE this school and never want to leave the teachers. I love the workshops.

B.I.N.K what I am proud of

I am proud of the workshop I have been going to the workshop is called solving division problems using place vale.

I am proud of this because the other day I got a worksheet and I feel really Confident with what ever my results.

My group for wit fundraised for the cancer society We raised $183.40 for the cancer society my group hopes that the cancer society is happy with the money we raised. My group is Te Aroha Maliesi and of course me Georgia. How it happened was we all picked a group and we picked the cancer society and then emailed Meg the manager and then Meg dropped off all the stuff she wanted us to sell and we did. We sold the stuff for daffodil day the stuff we sold was silk daffodils,wristbands, pens, badgers.

Term 2 week 4 reflection

 

 This is my maths I did at mr a's workshop and we were changing fraction into a decimal and as you see I got them all right. I am doing well with it but is not my goal but now I can do it well.

Making connections is about things that are connected to your life’ for example I had this connection. Sophie had this connection with the same book:

This is my avatar and my avatar shows that I like books and tie dye t-shirts. I like nursing. Plus I like the rainbow and lots and lots of bright colours and normally put my hair up. I like nursing because of my mum and I like nursing because I like caring for other people.

online vs offline

On line I am a chatterbox, and I am a gamer. In the games I play, I shop around world. Plus I am a writer.

But offline I am an animal lover and a dancer and I love the tramp and I am still a chatter box. Also offline I am a swimmer, a reader, and a friendly person.

My best piece of writing

This is my writing and my goal is to write sentences that have different beginnings and I think I have gone good.  But i do not think that I have finished my goal. I am writing this story for my mum and dad.  Can you see if I have used different beginnings on my sentences?
